Inception watch blog. Inception is the single best film that I have ever seen. The visual effects are really really good and a lot of them are done without the use of computer generated imagery. Although featuring a dream world like 'The Matrix. Inception' is much more refined and realistic. The different incidents in the film do not feel forced and you feel that that this might actually happen. The film follows a person who enters other peoples' dreams. He steals the required information and provides it to the company that paid him to do this. He however cannot return to his children as he is a criminal in his country. However, things change when a wealthy businessman asks him to perform an inception. Although way tougher and seemingly impossible, he agrees to do it and assembles a team. But like all heist movies, everything does not go according to plan. The only downside in the movie is that it is built for the intelligent audience is smarter than almost all other films. It is not a mindless action movie without a story-line and bad actors and only having a lot of visual effects. It truly is a movie that comes once in a lifetime.

It's really not often you find a film that develops characters to their deepest levels. That's what this film does. And having other characters recognizing the humanity behind the loss one character experiences with grief and sticking with the main character without it having to be a love affair (instead weirdly, a thriller) is such an unexpected bonus. See this movie. Understand that we all wrestle with our subconscious demons, our memories and our strangely architected innerscapes, and you will be rewarded. It's like Fellini meets Wild Strawberries with a Matrix-like thriller push. And weirdly, it works. It really does.
Also, I have to say that the film score is AMAZING. It's not rock or pop. Rather it's a classic music score, yet unforgettable. Johnny Marr of The Smiths fame was involved with Hank Zimmer driving the composition. Very talented, and it completely worked with the film. Not since Star Wars have I experienced such wonderful "film music.
The only thing about the film that I was unsure about was Ellen Page's character. How was a girl that young so wise? I kept thinking that she would be revealed to be an element of the subconscious. But given the way the movie ended, perhaps she was. I need to see it again soon.
